Foxconn cut 50K contract workers

It looks like that Foxconn has let go around 50,000 seasonal workers since October at its iPhone factory in Zhengzhou, reports Nikkei. Normally, the contracts of these workers would have been renewed until mid-to-late January when the the workforce is traditionally scaled back.

Next iPhone to feature 10/14MP front and rear camera

Soon we will be seeing Apple's new iPhone generation and the rumors mill started to bring some news about Apple's next iPhone specs. According to a new report from Indian website CompareRaja, the outlet says at least one of the prototype handsets Apple is testing right now has a 10MP front camera, and a 14MP camera on the back.

iOS hackers/developers warning that Sileo could end BigBoss repo

Sileo the alternative store to Cydia which was released a couple of days ago and became available for download. It looks like with that new launch it appears to have awoken the dormant beast in the jailbreak community. Many high-profile jailbreak hackers and developers are now speaking out against it, noting that the Sileo package manager hurts the BigBoss repository, which is the last of Cydia’s default repositories still standing (MacCiti and ModMyi closed their doors months ago).
