Screen Time has also been introduced with iOS 12. The feature allows you to track how much time you’re spending on your devices and how. There’s also a parents component that lets you track what your kids are doing on their devices.

Other features:

  • Apple Books app, which replaces iBooks.
  • Messages app now includes personalized Memoji, plus four new Animoji, including Koala, Tiger, Ghost, and T-Rex.
  • Photos app offers an all-new “For You” section.
  • Notifications are grouped and have a “manage” tab.
  • Do Not Disturb During Bedtime changes how notifications are handled at night.
  • Safari now includes Intelligent Tracking Prevention. With this feature, you can disable social media “like” and “share” buttons.
