iOS 13: Everything You Need To Know

There is no doubt that Apple is now working on a new major software for its iOS devices which will likely be called iOS 13. Now the talk is about the new features and changes that coming to the new iOS. In this post we are going to highlight the most features that is coming to iOS 13 and this is from months of collecting data and concepts from many sources.

iOS 13: Everything You Need To Know

What's new in iOS 13

It looks like that Apple is looking to focus on the new iPad as it has a bigger screen size than the iPhone and the iPod Touch, so many features that we are going to talk about will be on the iPad side.

Dark Mode

Don't we all love the dark gorgeous style in the iPhone ? Dark Mode was first announced in iOS 11 and starting from iOS 11 Apple is improving it and adding new features within each new software update.

It is claimed that Apple will be available in iOS 13 with the support of the system interface and there will be a new feature which is the "High Contrast". Yes like the one in Mac OS.

Also Dark Mode will be supporting all the native apps in iOS like Photos, videos, App Store,etc...

New Animoji and Emoji

Ever since Apple released the iPhone X with Animoji feature, it has added new Animojis every few months. Recently, the company released iOS 12.2 with a bunch of new Animojis. With its upcoming iOS 13 update, Apple is expected to introduce more new Animojis.

According to a tweet from a developer Stroughton-Smith, Apple will be introducing new Animoji as a part of iOS 13. The new characters include a cow, octopus, mouse, and emoji face.
It looks like iOS 13 might get some new Animoji: a cow, octopus, mouse, and an emoji face. That last one sounds like it has potential for shenanigans 😂 /cc @_inside— Steve Troughton-Smith (@stroughtonsmith) April 22, 2019
The emoji Animoji is the one that most people are going to have a lot of fun with. As for the mouse Animoji, it is possible that Apple will debut a Mickey or Minnie mouse Animoji with iOS 13. The company already offers a Mickey and Minnie Mouse watch face on the Apple Watch so it could very well work out on the licensing aspect with Disney on this.

Improved Mail App

Apple is going to improve Mail app by taking a feature from Gmail which is arranging the messages and adding it to categories like: (Starred messages, drafts, markets,etc...). Also users will be able to add messages to "Read Later".

iPad Pro to support Magic Mouse

A new concept shows that iPad Pro will support Magic Mouse.

His concept is based on the iOS 13 leak from earlier this month which revealed that it would come with floating apps. In the concept, he imagines using floating apps on the iPad Pro, using Exposé to see all the app windows open, and using drag and drop to move content around from one app to another.

It is definitely a great concept and shows how drag ‘n’ drop support along with support for external mouse will help make the iPad Pro a multitasking beast. Mouse support will mean that editing videos, photos, and doing other similar tasks on an iPad Pro will become far easier.

As you can see for yourself, the beautifully designed mockups include stuff we were told would come to iOS 13, like a system-wide Dark Mode, app windows with detachable panels, new navigation features, enhanced drag and drop, new multitasking gestures and what not.

I am going to leave you with the concept video:

Is mouse support on iPad something that you see happening?
