Chimera jailbreak updated to v1.0.2 resolving jailbreaking issues on some devices

A couple of days ago, Electra team released Chimera jailbreak for iOS 12 - iOS 12.1.2 which allows you to jailbreak iOS devices running on iOS 12 and especially A12X devices like iPhone XS and iPhone XR. Earlier today the team has pushed a new update for the tool bringing it to version 1.0.2 which fixes some jailbreaking issues that happened on certain devices.

The Electra Team pushed two consecutive updates for the Chimera jailbreak overnight, dubbed versions 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 respectively. Electra Team member nullpixel announced the first update, and the Electra Team announced the second via Twitter:

What's new in Chimera jailbreak v1.0.2:

According to the team tweet on Twitter, Chimera jailbreak v1.0.2 has these changes:
Chimera 1.0.1:

– Fix the voucher_swap exploit on beta firmware installations

– Fix the voucher_swap exploit on certain iPad Pro devices

– Reduce the .ipa file size by 32%

Chimera 1.0.2:

Fix an issue where the A12X-equipped iPad Pro (2018) would fail to jailbreak
In a follow-up Tweet, the Electra Team elucidates that updating your installation of Chimera isn’t necessary if you’re already successfully jailbroken, but it never hurts. Moreover, it’d be a good idea to download the latest version of the Chimera .ipa just to have it handy for the next time that you might need to re-deploy your semi-tethered jailbreak.

This update is for users who couldn't jailbreak their iOS devices with the previous version of Chimera. You can follow our guide on how to jailbreak iOS 12 - iOS 12.1.2 using Chimera jailbreak.
