Public Beta of iOS 13 Available For Download

With the release of beta 2 of iOS 13 to developers, Apple has released the first public beta of iOS 13 for anyone who wish to test iOS 13 on his iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. There is no big difference between the public beta and the developers beta, however, there will be bugs.

For the public beta testers out there, there is an over-the-air update to be downloaded and installed to get the new software on your registered device, after installing the appropriate certificate.

As far as new features are concerned, there is the aforementioned Dark Mode (which is also available in iPadOS), as well as a brand new, redesigned Photos app that offers a more robust way to look at your photos and videos. There are new photo editing options, a new volume HUD, the redesigned Find My app, and the new Sign In with Apple that will bring a far more secured way to log into apps and websites using Apple’s service.

However, it’s worth noting here that if you do plan on using either one of the new public beta seeds, be aware that there might be issues in the software, including bugs and performance problems.

If you are not already a part of Apple’s public beta program, head over to this website to join the program. After that, you will be able to easily install the public beta of iOS 13, iPadOS 13, or macOS Catalina via an update.
